Emerging Technologies in the ICT Field

I. Aims and Scope:
Emerging technologies in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are revolutionizing the way people interact and share information. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are widely applied to enhance data analysis with high accuracy, especially when processing large volumes of data. New technologies for 5G and beyond networks have been developed to meet the key requirements of next-generation communication systems, such as high data rates, ultra-reliability, low latency, energy efficiency, and security. These advancements are paving the way for innovations like smart cities and autonomous vehicles. Blockchain technology is transforming data security and transparency, particularly in industries such as finance and healthcare. Additionally, the Internet of Things (IoT) is connecting devices to create smarter homes and more efficient industrial operations. Building on the advantages of these emerging technologies in the ICT field, we propose a special session that will cover topics including, but not limited to, the following:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) and their applications in the ICT field
• Emerging technologies in 5G networks and beyond
• Blockchain, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies
• Internet of Things (IoT)/Satellite/Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)/Visible Light Communication (VLC) systems
• Quantum Communication and Semantic Communication
